“main exchange” or “HUB” to the cabinet uses fibre optic wiring. The wiring from the Cabinet to the premises is made of upgraded copper wiring. 

Sky Ultrafast is a Fibre To The Premises broadband connection with optic fibre connecting from the cabinet to the premises. You may hear friends, colleagues or see on other sites refer to this as FTTP broadband. So we would say Sky Superfast broadband is 50% fibre optic and Ultrafast broadband is 100% fibre optic.

Does Sky Superfast Broadband Come With a Talk Plan?

Sky Superfast broadband comes with the default Pay As You Go calls, but you can add the unlimited UK calling for just £12 per month. If you want to be adventurous, you can get International Calling for just £14 per month.
