The smaller independent providers also have a much, much, higher Trustpilot ranking which I find more accurate than Ofcom ratings as they don’t include smaller operators in their rating system. 

If you find your internet speed is well below the advertised rate we recommend raising a complaint with OfCom as they may contact the Ombudsman on your behalf to advocate your grievance with the provider.
